Shanghai Shangmei Real Estate Co., Ltd. was established in 1987 as a Sino foreign joint venture. The main shareholders of the company are: Shanghai Business Investment Holding Co., Ltd., Panama Shanghai Hotel Investment Co., Ltd. and Jiasheng Enterprise Co., Ltd. With a registered capital of US $13 million, the company's business scope covers the construction, sales, leasing, property management, real estate consulting, construction and sales of domestic commercial housing in the leased land.
The former foreign-related comprehensive property project is Meilihua garden, which is located in gubeixin District of Hongqiao, the first batch of export houses in Shanghai. It is a comprehensive foreign-related community integrating 4 high-rise residential buildings (including 1 Hotel Apartment), 8 independent villas, office buildings and shops. The project won the "Shanghai urban planning excellence Award". Shanghai Meilihua Property Management Co., Ltd. has implemented property management and service since the completion of the residential quarter. There are residents from more than 20 countries and regions living in the community, known as the "little United Nations".
